Gemdale Gold Inc is a newly listed company on the TSX.V, (GEMG.V )and has a current Mcap of ~C$35mln plus cash of ~C$5.0mln. It is wholly focused on exploration for gold and other critical metals in Finland.
For the past 9 years Gemdale has been building a strong presence in Finland, with a highly experienced management team and a strong portfolio of properties in Central Finland and Lapland at various stages of exploration. At the 100% owned Pontio gold project, in Central Western Finland, where a new 6000m infill diamond drill program has just been started, historic drill results include 126.1m at 0.8g/t and 148.6m at 0.71g/t. More infill results are expected in the coming weeks.
In addition, at the Isoneva gold project, also in Western Central Finland, where Nordique Resources has just entered a 3 year JV with Gemdale ( C$1mln /pa in exploration financing for 3years), historic drilling results include 17.94m at 4.3g/t.
Gemdale also has several important 100% owned strategically located ground positions in Central Southern Lapland, which has become one of the most exciting gold districts in Europe due to nearby recent discoveries made by Rupert Resources and Aurion Resources/B2 Gold.
Eldorado Gold has recently become a 9.5% equity shareholder in Gemdale Gold after a commensurate cash infusion into the company.
